AV Field Project Manager - Smart Home Systems
Scottsdale, AZ | Full-time | $34 to $38/hour

Oasis Luxury Smart Homes is hiring an experienced field project manager to lead luxury smart home projects from rough-in to ribbon-cutting. You'll own the schedule, budget and quality of every job, lead install crews on site, and step in hands-on when a job needs it. You'll work closely with our sales designers, project coordinator, builders and clients. This role is part technical lead, part project manager and part client-facing pro.

About Oasis
We design and install luxury home automation, AV, lighting and electrical systems across the Valley. We're always testing what's new and what's next, and nothing beats showing a client something they didn't know their home could do. Behind every seamless system is a crew of sharp, humble pros who take pride in doing things right. We're growing, our team is collaborative and accountable, and people tend to stick around.

What you'll do

• Take the handoff from sales and act as the main point of contact between the client, sales designer and project coordinator
• Manage every phase from prewire through trim, commissioning and final walkthrough, on schedule and on budget
• Lead install crews and get hands-on with wiring, terminations, mounting TVs, speakers and racks, and network setup
• Program and fine-tune control and lighting systems on platforms like Control4, Crestron, Savant and Lutron
• Configure routers, switches and wireless networks for rock-solid performance
• Run quality checks and system testing at key milestones, and troubleshoot quickly so callbacks stay rare
• Coordinate with builders, electricians, designers and other trades on site
• Send daily updates, keep documentation accurate, and keep job sites clean, organized and safe
• Train clients on their systems at handoff so they love using them

What we're looking for

• 4-5+ years of residential AV, low-voltage or home automation experience, including time leading crews or managing projects
• Hands-on programming experience with Control4, Crestron, Savant, Lutron or similar (certifications preferred)
• Strong networking fundamentals (routers, switches, IP addressing)
• Ability to read construction drawings and wiring schematics
• Clear, professional communication in high-end homes and client settings
• Organized, reliable and self-motivated, with strong follow-through
• Comfort with Google Workspace and project management software, plus the ability to pick up new or custom-built systems quickly
• Comfortable with ladders, lifts and power tools, and able to lift 50+ lbs
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record (required)

Bonus points

• A background in construction, carpentry or electrical work

What success looks like
Your jobs finish on time and on budget, installs are clean, and clients are thrilled at handoff. Crews trust your direction, sales trusts your handoffs, and the phone doesn't ring with callbacks.

Pay and benefits
$33 to $38 an hour DOE, with room to grow; plus bonus, 401(k) plan, profit sharing options, PTO, employee discount, Monday through Friday schedule, training and education opportunities, and room to grow as we expand.

Compensation: $33.00 - $38.00 per hour

Oasis Luxury Smart Homes designs and installs the technology behind some of the finest homes in Arizona and Southern California. From our headquarters in Scottsdale and our Orange County location, our teams handle home automation, AV integration, lighting design, and electrical work for luxury residential clients who expect everything to look beautiful and just work.

Our work covers the full home, from prewire and low-voltage infrastructure to whole-home audio, home theaters, lighting control, and complete smart home systems on platforms like Control4, Savant, Crestron, and Lutron. We also have a dedicated electrical division, which means our technicians, electricians, and project managers work side by side on projects from the framing stage through final walkthrough.

We're a growing company, and we move fast. Our best people take ownership, care about craftsmanship, and like solving problems instead of waiting for someone to hand them a script. In return, you'll work on high-end projects with modern tools, learn from experienced installers and engineers, and have a real voice in how we build the business as it grows.

If you take pride in clean installs, clear communication, and doing it right the first time, we'd love to meet you.
