Medical Assistant

Medical Assistant We are seeking a Medical Assistant for a 13-week long-term assignment to support a busy medical office. Candidates must be flexible with scheduling and able to work both standard 8-hour and extended 10-hour shifts based on business needs. Travel is a key component of this role the candidate must have a reliable personal vehicle. While the primary office is located in Farmington, CT, frequent travel to Glastonbury, Hartford, Plainville, Avon, and Cheshire is required. Schedule may consist of either: Five 8-hour days (approx. 7:30 AM 4:30 PM) Four 10-hour days (approx. 7:00 AM 5:30 PM) Final schedule released 12 weeks in advance Hourly Rate: $20.00 $25.00/hr Provide clinical support including patient intake, vital signs, and assisting with procedures Navigate and document in Epic (if applicable) Maintain high-quality patient care standards across multiple office locations Support physicians and care teams in a fast-paced surgical or outpatient environment Minimum 1 year of recent Medical Assistant experience (required) Experience in a surgical office setting (preferred) Familiarity with Epic EMR (preferred) Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
