Bring your passion to Texas Health so we are Better + Together Work location: Texas Health Alliance, 10864 Texas Health Trail, Fort Worth, TX 76244 Work hours: Full-time nights, 36 hours weekly, 3-12 hours shifts, 7:00 pm – 7:00 am Labor and Delivery Unit Department highlights: • Texas Health Alliance is a Texas 10-step designated facility. • 14 LDR Rooms • 4 OB/ED bays – with OB Hospitalists 24/7 • 2 OR suites • Average between 160 deliveries per month and increasing. • 24 bed Postpartum/Newborn, couplet care • Level III Maternal designation • Level III NICU

Here's What You Need: Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma required; BSN preferred CLIAFE Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire required BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 90 Days of hire NRP - Essential Neonatal Resuscitation Program within 90 Days of hire Req NRPA-Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program within 90 Days of hire CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention training maintained annually within 90 days of hire 1 Year Experience as a Registered Nurse or completion of an RN residency program Req At least 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience strongly preferred

What You Will Do: Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process Assesses the patient Plans the care of the patient Intervenes as appropriate Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care. Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out of hospital transfers.
