Job Summary:
The Poke Clerk works in the store’s food service area, preparing and serving poke and other ready-to-eat items while providing excellent customer service. This role is responsible for accurate order handling, food safety, and maintaining a clean, organized, and appealing service area.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet customers, take orders, and provide friendly, efficient service.
Prepare and serve poke and related items according to customer requests.
Weigh, label, and price products accurately.
Operate cash register and process payments.
Maintain clean, sanitized, and well-stocked displays, counters, and work areas.
Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Ensure products are fresh, properly stored, and visually appealing.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Previous customer service or food service experience preferred (minimum 3 months).
Basic math, communication, and customer service skills.
Ability to operate kitchen equipment and cash register safely.
Team-oriented with strong attention to detail.
Physical Requirements & Work Environment:
Ability to stand for extended periods.
Frequent lifting up to 10 lbs; occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
Regular bending, reaching, and repetitive tasks.
Exposure to cold environments, raw seafood, and cleaning agents.
Work around kitchen equipment and moderate noise levels.
