Founding Design Engineer
Full-time
Stealth Consumer Apps Startup
We build consumer apps that change how people interact with technology forever.
Small team in Palo Alto, T1-VC backed. You own a whole app: design, code, data, release. Sketch it in the morning, ship it by the afternoon, it is in the next build.
You will
- Build features from sketch to App Store.
- Make every screen feel native. Motion, haptics, no spinners.
- Own the loops that bring people back.
- Read the data, talk to users, cut what does not work.
Stack: Flutter, Swift, Kotlin, Firebase, TypeScript.
You
- Shipped mobile apps people actually use.
- Design and code. One job, not two.
- Notice a 2px misalignment and fix it before anyone asks.
- Build with AI and still understand every line.
- Stay with the product after launch.
Not for you if
- You need a spec before you start.
- You only design, or only code.
