Recast is a rapidly growing software company with its solution being used by thousands of enterprise organizations in more than 125 countries, impacting millions of devices and (more importantly) the people who use them.Recast is looking for a Product Manager II to help shape the future of Application Lifecycle Management (ALM).You will be responsible for understanding customer needs and market opportunities that influence how organizations package, deploy, update, secure, and govern applications. You will help ensure our Application Workspace and broader ALM solutions deliver meaningful customer value and strong product-market fit.Product Managers at Recast are accountable for defining customer problems and guiding investments that deliver meaningful customer outcomes. They partner closely with Engineering and Design throughout discovery, delivery, and post-launch learning to ensure investments create measurable customer value.Success in this role requires regular engagement with customers and prospects to understand their challenges, validate opportunities, and identify trends that should influence product strategy. You will serve as the key connection between the North American market and the product team, helping ensure our Application Lifecycle Management investments align with real customer needs.Understand the Market and CustomersDevelop deep expertise in the Application Lifecycle Management market, including customer needs, industry trends, competitive dynamics, and emerging opportunities.Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers, prospects, and partners to ensure the voice of the customer informs product decisions.Define Product DirectionTranslate customer and market insights into product strategy, roadmap recommendations, and quarterly planning inputs.Define customer outcomes and success metrics to prioritize investments within the Application Lifecycle Management portfolio.Prioritize opportunities based on customer impact, business value, strategic alignment, and market potential.Deliver Customer OutcomesPartner closely with Engineering and Design within Recast's Product Trio model to deliver solutions that create measurable customer outcomes and business value.Collaborate with Product Marketing, Sales and Customer Success to align product strategy, positioning, go-to-market activities, and customer outcomes.Develop a strong understanding of how customers define and measure success, using customer feedback and usage insights to improve customer value realization.What You've Done4+ years of experience in Product Management, Solutions Engineering, Customer Success, or a similar role influencing product direction and customer outcomes.Experience working directly with enterprise software customers, including gathering feedback, validating requirements, or supporting product adoption and growth.Experience using customer, business, and market inputs to influence prioritization, roadmap decisions, or product strategy.What Stands OutDemonstrated passion for understanding customers, uncovering unmet needs, and translating insights into product direction.Ability to quickly develop expertise in new technical domains and become a trusted voice with customers and internal stakeholders.Experience conducting customer discovery interviews, participating in customer advisory programs, or building structured voice-of-customer programs.Familiarity with endpoint management, application management, enterprise IT operations, device management, security, or adjacent technology domains.Strong interest in product-market fit, customer value realization, and understanding how product investments create measurable business outcomes.What Good Looks LikeYou are a trusted expert in the Application Lifecycle Management market and the challenges faced by enterprise IT teams.Customers, prospects, and internal teams view you as a reliable source of insight into market needs, trends, and opportunities.Product decisions are informed by a consistent flow of customer feedback, discovery, and market learning rather than assumptions.Roadmap investments clearly connect to customer outcomes, business value, and strategic market opportunities.You help strengthen product-market fit and customer value realization across the Application Lifecycle Management portfolio.Recast Product Management Operating PrinciplesCustomer Grounded: Decisions start with real customer problems, validated through ongoing customer conversations, support data, and win/loss input.Measurable By Default: Work ships with a defined success metric. Additionally, cash compensation for this role includes 10% annual discretionary bonus potential.
