In this energetic role, you will work directly with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder, to implement personalized behavior intervention plans. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help foster meaningful progress, independence, and improved quality of life for those you serve!Duties:Implement individualized ABA treatment programs under the supervision of a BCBAProvide direct 1:1 therapy to children with autism in clinic, home, or community settingsCollect accurate and detailed data on skill acquisition and behavior reduction programsFollow behavior intervention plans, including reinforcement, prompting, and redirection strategiesAssist in developing daily session notes and maintaining documentation requirementsCommunicate progress, challenges, and observations to supervising BCBAsParticipate in team meetings, training sessions, and ongoing professional developmentSupport generalization of skills across environments through play-based and naturalistic teachingUphold ethical and professional standards in line with BACB guidelines and PediaPlex expectationsQualifications:Active RBT certification (or willingness to obtain-PediaPlex provides training!)High school diploma required; Associate or Bachelor's degree preferredExperience working with children, especially in special education or behavior therapy, is a plusStrong communication, reliability, and teamwork skillsAbility to accept supervision, implement feedback, and work collaborativelyPhysical Requirements:Ability to safely lift and carry up to 25 lbs.Ability to move frequently: sit, stand, walk, kneel, crawl, bend, etc.Adequate vision and hearing to observe behavior and track dataAbility to use tablets, computers, and therapy materialsAbility to drive/travel between multiple locations (if necessary).Benefits & Perks:Competitive hourly pay based on experienceMileage (if applicable)Medical, dental, vision, and short-term disability insurance (eligible full-time employees)Employer-paid: Life, AD&D, and long-term disability insuranceCertification reimbursementTenure and milestone bonuses to reward long-term commitmentOngoing mentorship, training, and clinical supportEqual Employment Opportunity Statement:PediaPlex is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
