Sales and Service Representative Branch (58794)

Job Overview Member Service Counselor Branch – Union, NJ. Full Time, 40 hours per week, 8am-5:30pm Monday through Friday, and at least two Saturdays per month between 8am-2:30pm. Salary: $21.00 - $22.35 hourly. Responsibilities Develop comprehensive knowledge of AAA Northeast products and services. Promote the sale of memberships, including upgrades, auto-renewals, digital memberships, the AAA credit card program, business line referrals, and other club initiatives. Make changes on existing memberships and assist members with any issues that may arise. Deliver accurate and timely information to members regarding club products and services. Maintain department standards, servicing members in person and over the phone, and supporting club partnerships such as Registry Services and TSA. Provide registry services and/or TSA services (e.g., handling and processing confidential documents, inputting information into databases, license/ID renewals, registration renewals). Review applications and forms for completeness in person and over the phone, ensuring compliance with laws, rules, regulations, and standards. Provide assistance to members for accommodations and points of interest, including mapping, routing, and reservations. Promote and assist members with International/InterAmerican driving permits, passport photos, foreign currency, theme park tickets, entertainment tickets, and all other club products. Consistently meet and/or exceed minimum member satisfaction scores and other related position goals. Develop knowledge of promotions and initiatives, recognizing opportunities to improve overall branch performance. Act as a liaison with other departments (Travel, Insurance, Membership, Finance, IT, Member Relations) to coordinate and gather appropriate information for members or department issues. Perform job duties according to department policies, procedures, and practices within scope of authority, including adherence to all club/department safety protocols. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. Customer Service experience with a focus in Sales required. Must satisfactorily pass state-specific and federal background checks during pre- and post-hiring in accordance with state and federal requirements. Must meet individual state requirements to perform registry & TSA services, including clearing federal/state specific background checks/processes.
