Commercial HVAC Service Technician (Hickory, NC)

Commercial HVAC Service Technician Location: Hickory, NC Area Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour (DOE) Schedule: Full-Time Our client, a well-established commercial HVAC contractor, is seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technician. Responsibilities Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC equipment. Perform preventative maintenance on rooftop units, split systems, chillers, boilers, and related equipment. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals. Inspect systems and identify potential issues before they become major repairs. Complete service reports and documentation accurately. Communicate effectively with customers regarding system performance and recommended repairs. Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with company and OSHA standards. Participate in an on-call rotation as required. Qualifications 3+ years of commercial HVAC service experience preferred. Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills. Experience servicing RTUs, package units, split systems, heat pumps, and commercial HVAC controls. EPA Certification required. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various indoor and outdoor conditions. Preferred Qualifications NATE Certification (preferred but not required). Experience with building automation systems (BAS). Additional HVAC certifications or manufacturer training.
