RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work day shifts from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM with 30-minute lunch break
• End times may vary depending on surgical procedures
• Call requirements: 6-8 days per month
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• No local candidates will be accepted
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in patient care
• Work as a member of the surgical team with surgeons, anesthesiologists, ORTs, and other personnel
• Ensure supplies and timeliness of cases
• Communicate with families and update physician preference cards
• Scrub and assist physicians during surgical cases
• Supervise personnel delivering patient care
• Follow State Nurse Practice Act, AORN standards, regulatory standards, physician orders, and hospital policies
