Personal Care Assistant (PCA)

Location: Downingtown, Pennsylvania
Position: Full-Time | 2026–2027 School Year
Pay: Up to $25 per hour , based on experience

We are seeking a caring, dependable, and compassionate Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to join our school team for the upcoming school year. This position provides an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the daily lives of students while working as part of a supportive educational environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized support and assistance to students throughout the school day.
• Support students with personal care, daily living, mobility, and other needs as appropriate.
• Assist students in participating safely and successfully in classroom and school activities.
• Work collaboratively with teachers, special education staff, therapists, and school personnel.
• Follow student-specific care and educational plans.
• Maintain a safe, positive, and respectful environment for students.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience working in a school setting preferred .
• Experience working with students with special education needs preferred .
• Compassionate, patient, dependable, and professional.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to support students with varying physical, developmental, and educational needs.
