WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

This position is for a full-time Web Designer that can create long-term, trusting relationships with our Team. The Web Designer will be in charge of maintaining several websites as well as designing, developing and managing new websites. We’re looking for someone that has innovative ideas, designs visually pleasing and inviting sites that have great functionality and are dynamic. This person should be ahead of the trends and should always be looking to better themselves in this position.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Designs and develops custom and semi-custom websites from concept to completion.

• Applies changes to current client websites.

• Optimize images for the web and sometimes tweak/edit images.

• Researches and evaluates market and adjusts to new trends to meet changing market and competitive conditions.

• Maintains up to date knowledge and expertise with content management systems (CMS) such as Duda.

• Conducts responsive website design and development.

• Demonstrates proficiency in the operation of Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, Adobe XD and InDesign.

• Delivers fully functional web sites.

• Establishes and maintains a consistent corporate image throughout all product lines and promotional materials.

• Analyzes current research and statistical information in order to show operating knowledge of web servers, site framework, user interface requirements, web navigation, web page layout, cross platform compatibility, browser capability, image compression and production.

• Compiles and produces regular status updates for ongoing projects.

• Delivers accurate reports on review of websites identifying any errors.

• Maintains inventory of work content, artwork, and maintains archive files, and sample files.

• Provides expertise in particular product area and develops strategies to enhance capabilities of the applicable portions of the company.

• Plans, organizes, and coordinates assigned programs to ensure accomplishment of goals and optimum allocation of resources.

• Manages resources to execute assigned programs.

• Special projects or other related tasks and duties as assigned or requested.

MEASURES OF PERFORMANCE

• Designing and computer-based skills maintained and enhanced for effectiveness.

• A harmonious relationship is maintained with all company personnel to the overall benefit of the company efforts and its ultimate success.

• All external communications is prepared and submitted in concert with established company Policies and Procedures.         

• Establishes and maintains active daily reporting on progress of current projects.

• Adheres to all Company Policies and Procedures.

• Maintains a positive attitude toward the company, customers and co-workers.

• A professional stature in dress, speech and interpersonal relationships is maintained at all times.

Possess thorough awareness of the dental and marketing industries and have general knowledge of the client’s business needs and challenges beyond the direct areas of responsibility

Identify and anticipate potential problems and find alternative solutions; provide timely and constructive responses to problems and questions

Present to both the internal team and client in a formal and informal setting

Support and develop team resources, creating an inspiring and positive environment and all internal team members.

Ensure client satisfaction with agency support in achieving business goals and objectives.

Successfully utilize a variety of online internal agency tools to perform tasks in a quick pace environment

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in design or marketing or equivalent experience managing clients in a B2B environment or equivalent digital agency experience is a plus

Experience in either marketing to or working in the dental industry a plus.

Must have strategic and analytical marketing skills; excellent understanding of integrated marketing strategies, including but not limited to PPC, SEO

Knowledge of tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Google, CRM Software (Hubspot!), Asana

Must be a confident self-starter, team player, innovative problem solver, and able to manage multiple projects at once

Needs to be attentive to detail, resourceful, work well under pressure, and have strong communications skills.
