Programs Manager II -E11BOIG Annual Salary $63,000.00 + Full State Employee Benefits Travel is occasional. Must possess a valid driver's license and must maintain required car insurance. Minimum Qualifications Master’s degree and one year of professional experience, OR Bachelor’s degree and two years of professional experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience, substituting one year of professional level experience for each year of the required education. Job Responsibilities Responsible for the direction and supervision of Background Investigators I, II, and III's in their assigned duties. Manages staff to maintain accurate and timely determinations of criminal history records, through the use of critical thinking skills and an understanding of policy and law. Fosters a positive working environment and maintains excellent customer service. Works closely with Child Care Services staff to maintain a system of quality improvement. Responsible for supervision of staff completion of state‑wide background checks for Child Care. Responsible for overseeing the creation of policy, training, and improvement of processes. * Preference may be given to candidates w/experience in Child Welfare and/or Child Care Services.
