Human Resources Assistant

POSITION TITLE: HUMAN RESOURCES ASSISTANT DEPARTMENT (S): HUMAN RESOURCES EXEMPT/NON-EXEMPT: Non-Exempt POSITION SUMMARY: Assists the Hurman Resources team in planning, organizing, and coordinating the functions and activities, including wage and benefit administration, recruitment and retention activities, orientation, and training. Functions as a coordinator, maintains all personnel files for active and terminated employees, assists with various clerical tasks within the department, answers incoming phone calls, employee relations, and other duties as defined below. This position will be scheduled for 20 hours per week. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: Equal Opportunity Employer Minorities/Women/Veterans/Disabled Highschool graduate or GED required. Bachelor's degree preferred; Human Resources Administration or Business Administration major preferred. Two (2) years of experience in a n administrative role preferred.
