Perinatal Data Manager (Public Service Administrator, Opt. 6)

Overview The Perinatal Data Manager develops, designs, and conducts technical planning and analytical studies of perinatal health projects within the Illinois Department of Public Health, focusing on birth defects and adverse pregnancy outcomes. The role manages the Illinois Adverse Pregnancy Outcomes Reporting System (APORS) database, prepares scientific reports and publications, and represents the agency at executive meetings regarding perinatal project status and recommendations. Responsibilities Develops, designs, and conducts technical planning and analytical studies of perinatal health projects within the Illinois Department of Public Health, focusing on birth defects and adverse pregnancy outcomes. Qualifications Bachelor's degree with courses in public health, epidemiology, health information management, nursing, or medical science Three years of progressively responsible administrative experience in health or human services Three years of administrative experience in a health outcomes registry One year experience with ICD-9-CM and ICD-10-CM coding systems One year of working experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) #J-18808-Ljbffr
