Summary of PositionThis position is responsible for preparing and serving food and beverages and delivering outstanding dining experience to our guests with high-quality service, and has the ability to create a memorable dining experience for our guests. Servers in all locations adhere to all health regulations and local liquor laws. Ensures exceptional guest service and creates an inviting atmosphere. The dress code must be followed and worn at all times in public areas, including name tag.Have a thorough knowledge of emergency procedures.Provide exemplary customer service, ensuring guest satisfaction and maintaining a positive dining experience.Knowledgeably describe menu items, specials, and wine pairings to assist guests in making informed choices.Anticipate and fulfill guest needs promptly and courteously.Attend pre-shift meetings to receive communication regarding daily specials, important information, and service expectations.Ensure that all food and beverages meet the established quality standards before being served to guests.Monitor and maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area.Actively promote upselling techniques to maximize sales and enhance the overall guest experience.Any other duties directed by the General Manager and/or Food and Beverage DirectorWork EnvironmentThis position’s work is conducted in an indoor and outdoor environment. Working in the front of house and back of house areas are required. At times, the back of house areas could be warmer than the front of house due to the kitchen equipment. A dress code is required.Physical DemandsStanding on your feet for most or all of your shift is often required. The lifting of supplies and equipment that may exceed 50 lbs could also be required. Bending down, kneeling, crouching, squatting, and pushing are other physical demands that may be required of you.
