Property Name: The Gathering at UC Leasing Consultant: Leasing Consultants are responsible for completing the day‑to‑day leasing and marketing operations of the property while maintaining positive resident relations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Leasing Answer calls and persuade potential residents to visit the property or the property website Greet potential residents, parents and visitors in a professional manner Pursue leads by completing daily follow‑ups in the leasing database Place delinquency phone calls Complete guest cards and send thank‑you notes Marketing Attend and participate in resident events and event clean‑up Create working relationships with universities, local institutions, employers, local businesses, and cultural centers to help drive prospects to the property Execute and promote resident events Set up on campus and hand out promotional items Community Marketing – meet with local businesses, put out flyers, etc. Tour competitors frequently to gather information on leasing strategies (e.g., specials, occupancy, pre‑lease percentages, and property upkeep) Greet existing and potential residents Address and resolve questions/concerns in a timely manner Reporting and Administrative Generate mailings Collect checks and monies owed File leases Skills/Experience: Minimum: (1) year customer service and/or sales experience; excellent customer service skills and ability to resolve escalated customer concerns; understanding of Fair Housing Preferred: Property Management leasing experience Education: Minimum: High school diploma, some college Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field This job description should not be considered all-inclusive.
