Job Opportunity – Hospice RN (On-Call) – Texas

Start Date: November 23, 2026

Location: Fort Worth, Texas

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 7 on/7 off rotating schedule. Monday–Friday 5:00 PM–8:00 AM, 24-hour coverage Saturday–Sunday (8:00 AM–8:00 AM). Paid for standard 40 hours per week.

Highlights:

• On-call RN role serving the greater Dallas area with predictable 7-day rotation
• Provide holistic, family-centered hospice care across treatment settings
• Utilize HCHB electronic medical records system
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and revise individualized care plans
• Focus on comfort care, pain management, and supporting patients through end-of-life journey
• Manage admissions, assessments, and comprehensive documentation in compliance with hospice standards

Requirements:

• Active RN license in Texas
• Extensive hospice nursing experience required
• Proven experience in hospice on-call settings
• Hospice admissions experience required
• Proficiency with HCHB (HomeCare HomeBase) EMR system
• Strong assessment skills for physical, psychosocial, environmental, safety, and developmental needs
• Ability to educate patients, families, and caregivers on interventions, medications, and symptom management
