**Marketing Coordinator****Southern Park Mall | Boardman, Ohio Part-Time | Approximately 25 Hours per Week****Position Overview**Southern Park Mall is seeking an energetic, organized, creative, and community-minded Marketing Coordinator to support the mall’s local marketing efforts, events, digital communications, retailer promotions, and community outreach.Working closely with the General Manager and Kohan Retail Investment Group's Corporate Marketing team, the Marketing Coordinator will assist with implementing approved marketing initiatives that increase shopper engagement, promote mall retailers, and strengthen Southern Park Mall’s presence in the community.This is a hands-on, part-time position ideal for someone who enjoys social media, event coordination, working with local businesses and community organizations, and creating engaging content.**Key Responsibilities****Marketing Program Support**· Assist the General Manager and Corporate Marketing team by implementing the mall's annual and seasonal marketing initiatives.**Digital Marketing and Content**· Maintain Southern Park Mall's social media channels, website content, event listings, and digital communications.**VIP Shopper Program**· Support the growth and engagement of Southern Park Mall's VIP Shopper database.Events and Experiential Marketing· Assist with the planning, promotion, coordination, and execution of mall events and seasonal activities.**Retailer and Leasing Support**· Build positive working relationships with Southern Park Mall retailers.**Community Partnerships**· Assist in developing relationships with local schools, nonprofit organizations, civic groups, healthcare organizations, and community partners.**Property Presentation and Guest Perception**· Partner with the General Manager and property team to ensure marketing displays, event spaces, signs, and promotional areas are polished and current.**Sponsorship and Revenue Support**· Support the General Manager and Corporate Marketing with approved sponsorship and promotional opportunities.**Reporting and Administration**· Maintain organized digital and physical marketing files.**Qualifications**· Associate or bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Business, Public Relations, Hospitality, or a related field preferred.· One to three years of experience in marketing, social media, events, retail, hospitality, community engagement, or a related area preferred.· Relevant internships, volunteer leadership, school activities, or hands-on content creation experience may also be considered.· Strong written and verbal communication skills.· Experience creating content for Facebook, Instagram, email, and websites.· Familiarity with platforms such as Meta Business Suite, Agorapulse, Hootsuite, Canva, or similar marketing tools is preferred.· Basic photography, video, and graphic design skills are helpful.· Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, or similar business programs.**Schedule and Physical Requirements**· Approximately 25 hours per week.· Position may offer the opportunity to transition to full-time employment in the future, based on business needs and employee performance.· Schedule may vary based on property needs, events, holidays, and seasonal campaigns.· Occasional evening and weekend availability is required for events and promotional activities.· Ability to regularly move throughout the shopping center.· Ability to stand or walk for extended periods during events.· Ability to occasionally lift, carry, or move materials weighing up to 30 pounds.· This position is not part of the mall management weekend duty rotation and is not responsible for serving as the property's emergency-response manager.**Reporting Structure**The Marketing Coordinator reports directly to the Southern Park Mall General Manager and works in close coordination with Kohan Retail Investment Group’s Corporate Marketing team. #J-18808-Ljbffr
