About Behavioral Health Allies (BHA) Behavioral Health Allies (BHA) provides a lifelong, community-based continuum of care for individuals with developmental disabilities and complex behavioral challenges. BHA empowers individuals and their families through personalized support, education, and therapeutic services. Position Summary The Controller supports the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in managing financial operations and ensuring compliance with regulations specific to the developmental disability and healthcare sectors. This role is responsible for overseeing financial reporting, budgeting, audits, and key accounting functions while supporting BHA's mission of delivering exceptional services. This position is based on site, 5 days a week, in Kansas City, MO. Key Responsibilities Revenue Cycle Management Restricted Funds Compliance (PSA & NAFS) Contract Management Operational Efficiency Experience & Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial management or accounting. Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance. Proficiency with financial software and advanced Excel skills. Preferred Master's degree and/or CPA or CMA certification. Experience in healthcare, behavioral health, or ABA services.
