Seacoast Distributors LLC is hiring a Warehouse Associate / Backup Box Truck Driver to join our team in Lindenhurst, NY.

This is primarily a warehouse position - you will NOT be driving every day.

Most days, you'll work with our warehouse team picking orders, receiving merchandise, loading trucks, and keeping inventory organized. When one of our regular delivery drivers is on vacation, out sick, or otherwise unavailable, you'll step in and cover an established delivery route.

If you have box truck driving experience but don't necessarily want to spend every day behind the wheel, this could be a great fit.

• Pick and pack customer orders accurately
• Receive and put away incoming merchandise
• Load and unload trucks
• Prepare customer orders for delivery and shipment
• Organize inventory and warehouse locations
• Assist with general warehouse duties
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Work as part of the warehouse team to get orders out accurately and on time

• Cover established delivery routes when regular drivers are unavailable
• Safely operate a company box truck
• Load, secure, and unload customer deliveries
• Make accurate and timely deliveries to customers
• Complete required delivery paperwork
• Perform required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Provide friendly and professional service to customers
• Follow company safety procedures and applicable DOT requirements

• Previous box truck driving experience is required
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• Ability to successfully complete a DOT medical examination and obtain a valid DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT medical card)
• Ability to meet company and applicable DOT driver qualification requirements
• Previous warehouse, distribution, shipping/receiving, or order-picking experience preferred
• Dependable attendance and punctuality
• Comfortable with the physical demands of warehouse and delivery work
• Ability to safely lift and move merchandise throughout the workday
• Comfortable working independently when making deliveries
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Team-oriented attitude and willingness to help where needed

• Want a steady, full-time job
