Heat Treat Assistant

Position Summary Acuren Inspection is currently recruiting for Heat Treat Technicians to support our operations in Kansas City, MO. The Heat Treat Assistant assists in the operation of furnaces and related equipment used in the heat treatment of metals to achieve specified mechanical properties. Under direct supervision, this role supports loading and unloading parts, monitoring furnace temperatures, recording process data, and ensuring adherence to established procedures and safety standards. The Heat Treat Technician I maintains equipment cleanliness, performs basic inspections, and helps prepare materials for processing. This entry-level position focuses on developing foundational knowledge of heat treatment principles, metallurgy basics, and process control practices within a production or laboratory environment.
