Veterinary Technician Licensed, Overnight Emergency

Job Summary Full-time Veterinary Technician opportunity in Nashville, TN with Nashville Veterinary Specialists. Compensation $21-33/hr based on experience. Additional $4.50 shift and weekend differentials available. Relocation available to experienced Licensed Veterinary Technicians. Schedule Consistent, three 12‑hour shifts per week. Night shift: 6 pm – 6 am. About You You are an experienced Licensed Veterinary Technician dedicated to outstanding client service and excellent patient care. Requirements for the Role Minimum of 3 years working as a Licensed Veterinary Technician, preferably in emergency medicine. Experience in all basic veterinary knowledge, including triage, disease processes, pharmacology, restraint, diagnostic imaging, phlebotomy, anesthesia, laboratory equipment and procedures, etc. Advanced skill set (preferred, not required): central line placement, abdominocentesis, thoracocentesis, feeding tube placement, urinary catheter placement. Attention to detail, with strong communication skills with both clients and team members. While performing the duties, the employee is frequently required to bend, stand, stoop, walk, sit, talk, and listen; may be required to walk or stand for long periods of time; will use hands to manipulate, handle, or feel; will reach with hands and arms.
