Java Microservices Developer Location: Miami, FL (Need Locals) Type: W2 Contract We are seeking a skilled Java Microservices Developer to join our team in Miami, FL. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture, with experience designing, developing, and deploying scalable web applications. This is a hands-on development role focused on building modern, cloud-ready services for enterprise-scale applications. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices using Java and Spring Boot. Collaborate with product managers, architects, and other developers to implement high-quality solutions. Build and integrate RESTful APIs for internal and external use. Optimize application performance and scalability. Participate in code reviews and contribute to software engineering best practices. Implement CI/CD pipelines and work in Agile development environments. Ensure code quality, unit testing, and documentation. Required Skills and Experience: 7+ years of experience in Java development. Strong experience with Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and REST APIs. Hands-on experience with microservices architecture and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes). Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB). Knowledge of message brokers like Kafka or RabbitMQ is a plus. Proficient in using Git, Jenkins, Maven/Gradle. Excellent problem-solving skills and team collaboration. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with front-end technologies (Angular/React) is a plus. Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
