Registered Nurse (RN) - PACU

Registered Nurse – Peri-AnesthesiaSchedule: 10-hour shift length, varied start time, includes weekend coverage.Assignment Details: Contract Length: 13 weeks Guaranteed Hours: 40Requirements:Current licensure with the state Board of Registered NursingCurrent Basic Life Support (BLS) certificationExperience with EPIC EMRCertified Peri-Anesthesia nurse (CPAN) and/or Certified Ambulatory Peri-Anesthesia (CAPA) is desiredSuccessful completion of prior travel assignmentsRoles & Responsibilities:Provide pre-operative and post-operative care for surgery patients, including the occasional pre-operative care of gastrointestinal patients.Monitor patients' recovery and response to anesthesia.Administer medications and manage patient pain levels as per the care plan.Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the surgical process.Document patient care and maintain accurate medical records according to facility protocols.Compliance / Notes: Scrubs will be provided. Agency staff must be W-2 employees of their respective agency.
