This full-time, remote position offers the opportunity to work with trauma injury patients, helping them navigate their mental and emotional challenges as they heal and grow.

Work Environment\n

The role will primarily be performed in a remote setting, providing you with flexibility while remaining engaged with your team through video conferencing and online collaboration tools. Regular work hours are from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, allowing for a balanced professional and personal life. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive initial evaluations of patients' mental health needs, establishing tailored treatment plans based on individual assessments.

• Facilitate one-on-one counseling sessions, actively listening to patients’ concerns and providing a safe space for emotional expression.

• Design and implement effective coping strategies that patients can adopt to manage their trauma-related challenges.
\n
• Educate both staff and patients on recognizing and utilizing effective coping mechanisms for stress and trauma.
\n
• Provide continuous monitoring of patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.

• Coordinate closely with social and medical services, outreach programs, and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive support for patients.
\n
• Maintain credentials and enhance professional knowledge through continuing education courses relevant to trauma and clinical counseling.
\n
• Identify gaps in services and advocate for necessary resources to improve patient care within the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position specifically focuses on trauma injury patients, many of whom may experience anxiety, depression, PTSD, and other emotional disturbances as a result of their experiences. Your role as an LPCC is pivotal in guiding these individuals through their journey of recovery, helping them to reclaim their lives and achieve personal goals in a supportive and understanding environment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field.

• A valid Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) license from the state of California.

• A minimum of three years of experience working with trauma patients in a clinical setting.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong capabilities in documentation and reporting.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, allowing for effective engagement with patients and team members.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and Salesforce can greatly enhance your ability to manage patient data efficiently.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 120,000 to 140,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
