Certified Athletic Trainer - OrthofastIdeal candidate will be required to multi-task and provide excellent patient services as an Athletic Trainer for our practice.  Responsibilities:Prepares the patient for exam, obtains history and proper imaging Assists with in-office procedures Splinting and casting application and removalCommunicates with MD and PA regarding patient care Obtains patient clinical information through our electronic medical record systemAccurately fits patients with Durable Medical EquipmentDraws injections, as directed by providersFacilitates outside services for patient (i.e., Physical Therapy, Radiology)Ensures that exam rooms are properly stocked and maintained Competencies:Must have current NATA certificationExcellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential.Ability to maintain patient confidentiality is a mustAbility to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, employees, and the general public.  Qualifications:Must have current NATA certification.Two to five years as an ATC, preferably within an Orthopaedic practice is preferred.Communication skills are essential as this position interacts with practice providers, management team and staff members.Willingness to travel to several clinics on a weekly/daily basis is a must.Ability to work one night a week and two Saturdays a monthComputer skills: Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Electronic Medical Records Candidates will be courteous, articulate and reliable, and must be able to multi-task in a busy, professional, fast-moving environment while maintaining excellent customer service.OSG offers a pleasant professional work environment, competitive wages, and comprehensive benefits, including generous paid time off.Orthopaedic Specialty Group, P.C., is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
