Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Experience:

• 60 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Trauma Level 1 facility is required.

Requirements:

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <90 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - MaineHealth.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: - Proficiency in a wide range of high-quality echo procedures that meet accreditation standards, including transthoracic echocardiograms (TTEs), stress echocardiograms, and transesophageal echocardiograms (TEEs), with appropriate use of 3D echo and strain imaging. - Expertise in optimizing image quality through meticulous scanning techniques, appropriate equipment settings, and the effective use of ultrasound contrast agents.

Special Requests: - Travel pairs are not accepted.

Unit Details: - Busy inpatient echocardiography lab in a fast-paced tertiary care setting. - Daily workload: 7-8 echocardiograms per day.

Shift & Scheduling: - Rotating day shifts including rotating weekends. - Overnight call 5:30pm to 6:30am 2-3 nights per month; strict guidelines and cardiologist approval to be called in.

7 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 2 years

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 2 years

Driver’s license required for submission
