Security Officer

Role Description The Security Officer is a full-time, on-site position located in Salt Lake City, Utah. This role is responsible for maintaining a visible and professional security presence, monitoring entrances and exits, and controlling access to client properties. Daily tasks include conducting patrols, observing and reporting suspicious activity, responding to incidents, and completing detailed incident and shift reports. The Security Officer will interact respectfully with clients, visitors, and the public, follow established post orders and emergency procedures, and collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary. The role also involves maintaining situational awareness, adhering to company policies and client-specific protocols, and upholding a high standard of safety and customer service. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong observational skills, situational awareness, and attention to detail. Candidates should possess effective verbal and written communication skills, including clear incident reporting. Candidates should possess skills in conflict de-escalation, professionalism under pressure, and customer service. Candidates should possess basic computer literacy for logging reports and using security systems and devices. High school diploma or equivalent; prior security, military, or law enforcement experience is highly beneficial. Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods and work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Valid security guard license or ability to obtain one in Pennsylvania; clean background check and appropriate clearances required. Knowledge of emergency response procedures and familiarity with access control and surveillance systems is a plus. #J-18808-Ljbffr
