Phlebotomist

Labcorp seeks a phlebotomist for its Whiteville, NC location to perform blood collections, process specimens, and provide patient services. The role operates Tuesday–Wednesday, 7 am–6 pm, and includes data entry, billing, and administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests
• Enter patient information and maintain specimen logs accurately
• Prepare specimens for testing and process billing information
• Provide customer service and travel to additional sites as needed

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program
• Six months or more experience as a phlebotomist, or certification
• Pass standardized color blindness test
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently or in team settings
