Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Travel Job

We're hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local healthcare provider where you'll be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate or bachelor's degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program
• Current state license in good standing with the State License Board
• One year experience as an RRT
• BLS certification
• RRT
• ACLS

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 1900-0730
• Weekend requirement: Every other weekend
• Work assignments are paired with step-down and floor assignments
• On average, responsible for 8 vented patients in a unit
• Floor assignments consist of 3-4 floors
• On average, 2-3 intrahospital transports per shift, including CT, MRI, and Specials
• Equipment used includes Servo i vent, V60 BiPAP, and iStat for ABG analysis
