Junior Interior Designer
A high-end residential interior design studio based in Lower Westchester County is seeking a Junior Interior Designer to join our growing practice. This hands-on role works closely with the Founder across all phases of high-end residential projects, from concept and sourcing through documentation, procurement, and installation. We are looking for someone who is creative, organized, detail-oriented, and collaborative, with a genuine interest in high-end residential design. The role offers direct mentorship, exposure to the full design process, and opportunities to grow into greater responsibility.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with furniture, lighting, accessories, materials and finish sourcing and related activities.
- Create client presentations, tear sheets, FF&E schedules, renderings and other design documentation.
- Produce and update AutoCAD floor plans, elevations, details and millwork drawings.
- Assist with procurement and order management from specification through installation.
- Maintain organized project specifications, schedules, samples, materials and vendor resources.
- Participate in site visits, project meetings, installations, styling and photoshoots.
- Assist with trade accounts, meeting notes and studio marketing/social media content as needed.
- Collaborate closely with the Founder and design team to keep projects organized and moving forward.
