Business Analyst Location: McLean, VA Work Mode: 5 Days Onsite Interview Process: In-Person Client Interview Required Visa – Any visa except OPT/CPTs. Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our team in McLean, VA. The ideal candidate should possess strong business analysis skills with experience in BFSI, lending, or mortgage domains. The candidate must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams, supporting production activities, and taking ownership beyond core BA responsibilities when required. Required Skills & Experience 5+ years of strong Business Analysis experience Preferred domain experience in: Banking & Financial Services (BFSI) Lending Mortgage Strong experience gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements Ability to write detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and manage requirements in JIRA Good hands-on experience with SQL for data analysis and validation Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Ability to coordinate with development, QA, and business teams effectively Responsibilities Gather and analyze business and functional requirements Create and manage user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria in JIRA Work closely with developers, QA teams, and business stakeholders throughout the SDLC Perform data analysis and validation using SQL queries Support sprint planning, backlog grooming, and Agile ceremonies Participate in testing activities whenever required and assist QA teams Support production deployments and post-production validation activities Troubleshoot issues, perform impact analysis, and coordinate resolution efforts Ensure timely delivery of project milestones and business objectives Additional Expectations Candidate should be flexible and willing to take on additional responsibilities including testing and production support activities Strong ownership mindset and ability to work independently Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Preferred Qualifications Experience working with enterprise-level financial applications Familiarity with mortgage/lending workflows and business processes Prior experience in client-facing roles is a plus #J-18808-Ljbffr
