Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will have a multitude of responsibilities, including but not limited to:

• Collaborating with a multi-disciplinary healthcare team to develop individualized treatment plans that incorporate comprehensive psychosocial assessments and evidence-based interventions.

• Building strong professional relationships with leaders in community resource organizations, representing MindShift at meetings and contributing to discussions aimed at addressing the social needs of our patients.

• Providing both individual and group therapy, employing therapeutic modalities tailored to the needs of various patient demographics.

• Engaging in crisis intervention and ongoing counseling for patients, assessing and addressing emotional and behavioral challenges.

• Maintaining precise and timely documentation, including clinical records and progress notes, in compliance with departmental policies and best practices.

Qualifications\n

Candidates must meet the following qualifications to be considered:

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.

• A valid and active license to practice in Oregon as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW.

• A minimum of three years of experience working in an outpatient setting, focusing on mental health therapy.

• Proven ability to foster professional relationships with peers, medical staff, and clients.

• Strong foundational knowledge of therapeutic theories, assessment tools, and evidence-based treatment methods.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly.
