Description
American Traveler seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist for an OR Float position requiring high-capacity operating room experience and a 4x10 Day/Evening rotation schedule.
Details
- OR Float unit within a high-capacity operating room
- 13-week contract with 4x10 Day/Evening rotation schedule
- Evening shifts run 1p-11p; day shifts run 7a-5:30p Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and 9a-7:30p Wednesday
- Includes 2 weeks of night shifts per contract
- Weekend scheduling includes 12-hour shifts, with 8 or 10-hour shifts during the same week to meet contracted hours
- At least 2 short calls required each 4-week schedule
- Uses Epic for charting
- Uses UKG/Kronos for timekeeping
Requirements
- CST certification through NBSTSA or NCCT required
- Experience in a high-capacity operating room required
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
- Active MA license required at time of consideration; no pending licenses accepted
- License required if applicable
- 2 professional references required
Additional Information
- Limited RTO available during winter holidays
- Flu vaccine required during flu season; no religious or medical exemptions allowed
- Local candidates within 60 miles of Boston, MA may be considered at a reduced rate
- No validated parking available at Boston locations; public transportation or paid public parking recommended
