Revenue Accountant
Robert Half
We are seeking a Revenue Accountant with strong experience in journal entries, accounts receivable, and revenue accounting (ASC 606) This individual will work with high volumes of data , so advanced Excel skills are essential, including experience with large data sets and pivot tables . The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented , asks thoughtful questions, and is comfortable working in an environment with limited documentation .
This person should also be able to identify process improvement opportunities , recommend more efficient workflows, and provide support during audit preparation and requests . Prior startup experience is strongly preferred.
Key Qualifications
- Experience preparing and posting journal entries
- Strong understanding of AR and revenue-related accounting entries
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivots and large-volume data analysis
- Comfortable working with 30,000–40,000 rows of data
- Highly detail-oriented with strong analytical thinking
- Able to work independently and ask the right questions in ambiguous environments
- Experience driving process improvements
- Ability to support audits and related reconciliations
- Startup experience preferred
- Experience with NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Salesforce, and FloQast
