Senior Clinical Scientist Clinical Surveillance & Training Updated: Yesterday Location: Morrisville, NC, United States Job ID: 25109728-OTHLOC-1500-2DWY-2DR Senior Clinical Scientist Clinical Surveillance & Training The Clinical Solutions team partners with customers to develop and deliver eligibility review, endpoint review, rater training, scale management, and translation services. This role provides scientific oversight and clinical guidance for projects within the Clinical Surveillance & Training (CST) department, applying advanced clinical and trial methodology to ensure quality subject selection and reliable outcome data. Job Responsibilities Contribute to draft protocol review, scale selection, and may contribute to full protocol design and development, offering clinical expertise and partnering with customers on design and specific text. Participate in development of eligibility review, endpoint review, rater qualification, training, and certification plans, documents, reports, etc. Contribute to scales management and translation deliverables; review case report forms and electronic clinical outcome assessment (eCOA) pages to ensure consistency, and provide feedback. Work with vendors and/or company staff involved in training regarding the use of clinical scales, diagnostic instruments, or eCOA technology. Provide internal Syneos Health and site staff training on therapeutic indications, scale administration, and scale scoring. Perform clinical and statistical analysis of rating scale and/or endpoint data; work with investigators and staff to ensure protocol entry criteria and scale use are understood. Review screening data and lead case reviews to determine subject eligibility. Provide professional, collaborative, and scientific feedback to investigators. May perform final review and quality control check of documents and materials drafted by other CST members. Continuously improve clinical and scientific expertise through research and publication. Maintain familiarity with current relevant literature. Provide scientific and clinical expertise to sponsors, study teams, and the company. Serve as indication and CST service subject matter expert; support business development by providing scientific proposal text, protocol considerations, and slides. Participate in bid defense meetings. Contribute to strategic CST process improvement, team growth, and infrastructure development. Provide CST-specific training and support to other CST members, including therapeutic, protocol-specific, and process training. Line manage and/or mentor other CST members.
