Joining us means taking on meaningful cases while building a lasting career alongside colleagues who are invested in your growth.Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney to manage a diverse caseload in civil litigation. The attorney will represent clients in court, draft pleadings and motions, conduct discovery, manage trials and hearings, and provide strategic legal advice. The ideal candidate is an organized litigator with strong advocacy skills and experience handling civil matters; familiarity with general liability, motor vehicle/auto and transportation claims, insurance defense, or medical malpractice is a plus.Compensation: $130k-180k base salary (DOE)Key ResponsibilitiesManage a docket of civil litigation matters from intake through resolution, including strategy development and case budgetingDraft and file pleadings, motions, discovery requests, responses, settlement agreements, and other litigation documentsConduct factual and legal research, prepare briefs and memoranda, and advise clients on litigation strategy and risk assessmentTake and defend depositions, prepare witnesses, and manage discovery logistics and document productionAppear in court for hearings, pre-trial conferences, motion practice, mediations, arbitrations, and trials as neededCollaborate with clients, claims professionals, and co-counsel to evaluate settlement options and negotiate favorable outcomesSupervise paralegals and junior attorneys, delegate tasks, and review work product to ensure accuracy and compliance with firm standardsMaintain accurate case files, billing records, and communication logs, and meet deadlines and court-imposed timelinesQualificationsJuris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school and admission to the Pennsylvania state bar in good standing (NJ/NY a plus)Proven experience as a litigation attorney with substantial experience in civil litigation matters including motor vehicile/auto and transportation claims, insurance defense, general liability, or medical malpractice litigation.Strong courtroom experience, including motion practice, depositions, hearings, and trial experienceExcellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skillsAbility to manage a high-volume caseload, prioritize tasks, and meet strict deadlinesEffective client counseling and negotiation skills, with a professional and responsive approach to client serviceComfortable supervising support staff and mentoring junior attorneysProficiency with case management software, e-discovery tools, and Microsoft Office applicationsBenefitsComprehensive benefits401(k) with employer contributionPaid time offFlexible Spending and Health Savings AccountsMedical, Dental, and Vision insuranceEmployer-paid life insuranceVoluntary insurancesAnnual bonusesProfessional development assistance...and more!
