Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Night Shift (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM) | 36 Guaranteed Hours per Week | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an acute care ICU/Neuro unit within a 295-bed regional hospital serving an 11-county area
• Manage a patient ratio of 5:1 on night shift, delivering safe and effective nursing care
• Utilize Meditech EHR for accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes
• Support a facility offering advanced cardiac care and a neurosurgery program with Spine Center accreditation
• May be required to float to units within the facility as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in Kentucky or compact state eligibility
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in an acute care facility; 2+ years preferred
• Current BLS certification (required prior to start)
• Current NIHSS certification (required prior to start)
• Must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to qualify for travel rates

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a neuro or ICU specialty setting
• Familiarity with Meditech electronic health records system
• Experience working in a high-acuity acute care environment with neurosurgery or cardiac patient populations
