Lead Infrastructure Engineer - Network Connectivity

Salary: $61,000 - 101,000 per year Requirements:

• We require formal training or certification in infrastructure engineering, along with at least 5 years of hands-on experience.
• We need strong expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, including compute, storage, and networking services.
• We require proven experience in project or service delivery management.
• We need deep knowledge of networking and telecommunications technologies across Layers 0 to 3, including dark fiber, DWDM, Ethernet, IP-VPN, DIA, broadband, cellular, and satellite connectivity.
• We require experience working with telecom and managed service providers, including oversight of contracts and service-level agreements.
• We need excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and build trust across business and technical audiences.
• We require strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects across regions.
• We require demonstrated experience using enterprise-authorized AI capabilities to support infrastructure engineering workflows, with strong validation habits and awareness of data sensitivity.
• We require the ability to review and validate AI-assisted recommendations before implementation, escalate uncertainty when needed, and ensure outcomes align with resiliency, security, and auditability expectations.
• We prefer experience in a global financial services or other regulated enterprise environment.
• We prefer experience using Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence for workflow, documentation, and reporting.
• We prefer familiarity with cloud connectivity and hybrid architectures.
• We prefer relevant cloud certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect or Azure Administrator.
• We prefer data analysis skills, including the ability to interrogate, model, and visualize large datasets to identify trends, cost drivers, or delivery risks.
• We prefer experience in financial services or other highly regulated industries.

• We design and implement scalable, resilient infrastructure architectures that support business-critical applications and services.
• We oversee service delivery for connectivity initiatives across the Americas, ensuring delivery is on time, within budget, and aligned to quality standards.
• We collaborate with stakeholders to convert business needs into technical infrastructure solutions.
• We coordinate with telecom providers, vendors, and internal engineering teams throughout the delivery lifecycle, from design through acceptance testing and operational handover, while maintaining supplier performance against SLAs and improvement plans.
• We track project progress, identify risks, put mitigation plans in place, and manage change control, cost governance, and documentation across connectivity projects.
• We support regional and global network strategy execution and contribute to process improvement and service optimization efforts.
• We contribute to capacity planning, analytics, and reporting, turning delivery data into actionable insights for senior leadership.
• We lead evaluation and adoption of emerging technologies to improve reliability and performance.
• We mentor and coach junior engineers to support continuous learning and technical excellence.
• We use enterprise-authorized AI capabilities in the work environment to accelerate infrastructure analysis, option evaluation, and design documentation, while validating outputs and handling data according to sensitivity and security requirements.
• We apply reuse-first, AI-assisted practices in delivery and automation routines to identify recurring issues and validate remediation options, ensuring changes are traceable, auditable, and aligned to resiliency and security expectations.
