Security Officer - Access Monitor

Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $19.73 / Hour Job Schedule Tues: 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM; Wed: 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM; Thur: 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM; Sat: 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and drivers by carrying out access control procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a busy logistics and distribution location. Monitor entrances, gates, badges, and visitor logs to help support authorized access, verify credentials, and report unusual activity or policy concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site personnel and/or first responders as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including warehouse areas, shipping and receiving zones, parking areas, and perimeter points, as assigned. Support truck entry and exit processes by checking required information, directing drivers to appropriate areas, and helping maintain orderly access flow during active operating hours. Minimum Requirements Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
