Safety Manager

Our client is seeking a Senior Safety Manager to lead safety strategy, compliance, and culture across a high‑volume, USDA‑regulated food manufacturing environment. This role drives proactive risk reduction, regulatory excellence, and continuous improvement to protect every associate. Responsibilities: Lead Safety Culture across plant operations through coaching, accountability, and visible engagement. Ensure OSHA/USDA Compliance with audits, inspections, and corrective actions. Manage Risk Programs including hazard assessments, ergonomics, incident investigations, and JSA. Deliver Training for LOTO, PPE, RTE, emergency response, and frontline/leadership development. Drive Continuous Improvement to strengthen safety KPIs and reduce operational risk. Own Safety Metrics with data analysis, reporting, and trend‑based action plans. Qualifications: 7–10+ years of safety leadership in food manufacturing or USDA‑regulated operations. Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, HACCP, GMP, RTE.
