Join a dedicated team where your contributions directly improve community health outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform a variety of ultrasound exams, including abdominal, pelvic, musculoskeletal, and vascular studiesOperate ultrasound equipment with precision, optimizing settings for accurate image captureEnsure patient comfort, safety, and proper positioning throughout the examinationCollaborate with radiologists and care teams to interpret ultrasound findingsAccurately document imaging results and patient details in the EMR systemEducate patients on procedures and address any questions or concernsMaintain compliance with HIPAA, AIUM, and facility safety protocolsConduct regular equipment checks and report any issuesStay updated on sonography best practices and technology developmentsQualificationsAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related fieldCertification through ARDMS or ARRT (S)Minnesota state licensure as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, if applicableExperience & SkillsAt least 1 year of experience in a hospital or clinical settingProficiency with ultrasound equipment and imaging softwareStrong anatomical knowledge and technical sonography skillsCompassionate communication and interpersonal skillsComfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environmentFlexibility for weekend and on-call shiftsWhy Join Us?At MLR, we believe in creating a workplace where Sonographers can flourish.
