Nursing Department Coordinator

This position is responsible for the coordination of the daily operations of a designated nursing department under the guidance of the Service Line Manager, providing both clinical and administrative leadership and expertise. It contributes to the department/unit's strategic planning efforts and supports the achievement of both departmental and organizational objectives.

Primary Department, Division, or Unit: Emergency Department, UHS Chenango Memorial Hospital

Primary Work Shift: Day

Regular Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40

Compensation Range: $37.45 - $59.38 per hour, depending on experience

Education and Experience

Minimum Required:

• Bachelors degree in Nursing
• Three (3) years of Nursing experience
• At least three (3) years of directly related experience

Preferred:

• Masters in Nursing
• Previous experience in a supervisory role

License and/or Certification

Minimum Required:

• Current New York State Registered Nurse License
