Tell us about the unit(s):
Number of Beds -: 29 beds but can overflow adults in peds for a total of 39
Number of Staff when at 39 we call for a charge, 8 RN, and our ACT
Type of staff:
Day Shift charge, 8 RNs, and ACT from 10am-10pm
Night Shift - charge, 8 RNs and ACT from 10am-10pm
Patient Ratios 5:1
Type of equipment remote telemetry
EMR Meditech
Typical hiring profile
Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters)
: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
Minimum 1-year current Med/Surg RN acute care experience
Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.
Prior Meditech experience
List typical procedures performed on unit(s):
Post-op surgical patients
Some cardiac drips such as amio and dilt. Also will see heparin drips
Best personality Fit:
Hard worker, fun personality, high energy
