Job Summary:
Assist in surgical procedures by preparing and maintaining sterile environments, transporting patients, and supporting surgical teams during operations. Ensure compliance with hospital policies and maintain a high standard of patient care and safety.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms and sterile supplies for surgical procedures.

• Transport patients to and from the OR as needed.

• Assist surgical staff by scrubbing on various procedures independently.

• Maintain strict adherence to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.

• Support with turnover cleaning of surgical suites between cases.

• Respond promptly to call requirements, participating in on-call rotations.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Hawaii Surgical Technologist license prior to start date.

• Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience scrubbing cases in a hospital setting.

• Demonstrate proficiency in general, orthopedic, vascular, ophthalmic, urology, ENT, endoscopy, robotic, obstetrics, and gynecology procedures.

• Exhibit strong knowledge of sterile techniques and surgical procedures.

• Possess excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Be able to work flexible shifts and participate in on-call duties.
