Position Title RN - Med Surg / Tele AllCare Medical Services, Margate, Florida, US Job Summary This role is for an experienced Medical Surgical Registered Nurse at an acute care facility located in Margate, Florida. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care to a diverse adult patient population within a dynamic medical-surgical unit. The position involves collaborating with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, ensuring optimal outcomes and adherence to established protocols and standards. This is a contract assignment offering a structured yet flexible schedule. Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care, including comprehensive assessments, medication administration, wound care, and monitoring of vital signs. Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals. Educate patients and their families on health conditions, medications, and self-care practices. Document all patient care activities accurately and timely in the electronic health record. Respond to medical emergencies and provide critical interventions as needed. Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and staff. Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards. Required Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida. Minimum of 1-2 years of recent, acute care Medical Surgical experience. Ability to meet additional facility-specific requirements and/or certifications as requested. Skills & Competencies Proficiency in medical-surgical nursing procedures and patient care. Strong assessment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Competency in electronic health record (EHR) systems. Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing patient needs. Shift Details Shift Type: Flexible, Rotating Shift Duration: 10-hour shifts Days per Week: 4 days per week Call Requirements: Not specified. Weekend Rotations: Not specified. Contract Length: 1 year (June 22, 2026 - June 22, 2027) Licensing Requirements Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida.
