As a Principal Designer, you will play a critical role in shaping the design direction of our products and ensuring that our user experiences are intuitive, engaging, and aligned with our business goals. You will lead design initiatives, mentor designers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver outstanding design solutions. Above all, you will inspire everyone around you through your design vision for UiPath and how it comes to life.We are a global team that enjoys working both remotely and in the office. We work closely with Product Managers to create forward-thinking, user-centered designs that align with business goals. We are huge fans of sticky notes, whiteboard sketching, and immersing ourselves in customer feedback.What you'll do at UiPathProductDesign the next generation of AI-forward workflow and automation toolsDefine and drive design strategy for products, ensuring alignment with business objectives and user needsProvide leadership and mentorship to the global design teamFoster a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvementAdvocate for user-centered designs, ensuring user needs and feedback are at the forefront of decisions.Elevate the visual design of the products you supportCollaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop and execute design solutions that meet project requirements and timelinesDesign Excellence: Ensure the highest standards of design quality and consistency across all products and platforms, from conceptualization to final deliveryInnovation: Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and design best practices, and leverage this knowledge to drive innovation and excellence in designProject Management: Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and effective communication with stakeholdersPeople & CultureComfortably lead and inspireCreate opportunities for designers to grow and flourishProvide guidance, oversight, and mentorship to the teamSet expectations and help to promote a fun, highly collaborative team cultureProactively identify and resolve impedimentsFoster cross-functional collaboration (e.g., with Engineering & Product Management)What you'll bring to the team8+ years of product design experience requiredBachelor's degree in product design, communication design, or equivalentExperience designing with AI tools like Claude Code or CodexHighly proficient in FigmaExcellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to engage successfully with many different stakeholders and product leadersSolid understanding of cross platform design systems and technical frameworksProject management skills to prioritize design needs and ensure successful project completionExperience in business automation or enterprise software is a plus, but not a requirement#LI-MH1Maybe you don’t tick all the boxes above—but still think you’d be great for the job?
