Must-Have:
Strong experience with total joints, general, vascular, and spine.

Description:
Unit ratios are 1 to 1.
The Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system used is Cerner Surginet.
Report to the Clinical Supervisor.
There is also a Clinical Director and a Manager.
OR Techs are available.
Weekend requirement is covered by call.
Holidays are also covered by call.
Call is 1 to 2 weeknights per week.
Weekend call occurs approximately once a month from the end of shift Friday to 6:30 am Monday.
Scrubs are provided.
Television equipment from Phillips is available.
Vents are present.
A hospitalist or intensivist is not in-house.
The Respiratory Team is available 24/7.
Pharmacy services are available 24/7.
Shifts can be 8 hours, 10 hours, or 12 hours.
Mids start at 9 am or 10:45 am.
There is no floating among units.
Floor-specific orientation consists of one shift with a preceptor.
Common diagnoses and types of patients include all cases except transplant.
Types of surgeries performed include CABG, valve surgeries, pacemakers, lead extractions, and lung cases.
In the main OR, cases include orthopedic, general, vascular, neuro, spine, ENT, and trauma.
Candidates must have strong experience in total joints, general, vascular, and spine procedures.
The facility can cancel up to 4 shifts during the 13-week assignment.
The charting system used is Cerner.
A BSN degree is not required.
This is a trauma level 2 care setting.
The division is Allied Health.
