Material Handler – 2nd Shift$1,250 Sign-On Bonus AvailableThe Material Handler (2nd Shift, Monday through Thursday, 2:00 PM–12:00 AM) plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient flow of materials within the warehouse and production environment during evening operations.This position is responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing materials and products accurately and in a timely manner to support manufacturing and shipping operations. The role requires close coordination with inventory control, production teams, and shipping departments to maintain optimal stock levels and prevent production delays. The Material Handler will also maintain a clean and safe work environment while following all safety protocols and company policies. Ultimately, this position supports overall operational efficiency by ensuring materials are handled and delivered correctly during the second shift.Minimum Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalentPrior experience in warehouse or material handling role, preferably in manufacturingAbility to safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks (certification preferred or willingness to obtain)Basic computer skills for inventory systems and email communicationAbility to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs with assistancePreferred Qualifications:Forklift certification or other material handling certificationsExperience working 2nd shift or non-standard schedulesFamiliarity with OSHA safety standards and warehouse best practicesExperience with cycle counting and inventory controlStrong teamwork and communication skillsResponsibilities:Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing listsStore materials in designated locations and maintain accurate inventory recordsPick and stage materials for production and shipping based on schedules and work ordersOperate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficientlyPerform cycle counts and assist with physical inventory auditsMaintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse and storage areasCollaborate with team members to resolve inventory discrepancies and improve workflowReport equipment issues, safety hazards, or inventory concerns promptlySkills:Key skills such as forklift operation and inventory management are essential for safely and accurately moving materials throughout the facility. Strong attention to detail ensures proper storage and tracking of inventory, while computer proficiency supports real-time data accuracy in warehouse systems.
